C.E.R. - Energy Communities
Become an active part of a sustainable and innovative energy revolution
C.E.R. are energy communities of citizens, companies and public bodies that collaborate to produce, consume and manage renewable energy at a local level. Thanks to our photovoltaic systems we can reduce costs, reduce CO2 emissions and promote a greener future for everyone.

Energy Communities FAQs
We answer some questions about Energy Communities
Private citizens, businesses, public bodies and non-profit organisations can be part of a Energy Communities. Participation is open to anyone who wants to contribute to the production and consumption of renewable energy. You can be a producer, a consumer or both. The only constraint for participants in the same C.E.R. is to refer to the same primary electrical distribution cabin; check yours at the following maps.
You have a twenty-year incentive with a value between €60/MWh and €120/MWh, depending on the size of the system and the market value of the energy. For photovoltaic systems, there is a further increase of up to €10/MWh depending on the geographical location. This incentive applies to the energy that you produce and is self-consumed (by you or another member of the energy community). In addition, you can still sell excess energy thanks to the Dedicated Withdrawal. So there are no disadvantages of any kind in setting up a C.E.R.!
Self-consumption for members of the energy community is fictitious. If producer A feeds electricity into the grid and at the same time consumer B uses electricity, then the condition of self-consumption of the C.E.R. occurs. For this very reason, it is advisable to change your energy habits and try to consume mainly in the F1 time slot from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (the time when photovoltaic systems produce energy).
For only C.E.R. whose production plants are located in municipalities with a population of less than 5,000 inhabitants, a capital contribution is foreseen, equal to 40% of the investment cost, to be drawn from the resources of the PNRR.
Absolutely yes. Both storage systems and charging stations for electric cars are compatible with C.E.R. incentives. The energy stored or used to charge your electric vehicle will be considered as shared energy within the Energy Community.
